Our programs are adaptable for individuals with memory loss, developmental delays, or physical limitations
Bring Back The Music’s programs foster connection and cultural awareness by using music as a shared language that bridges generational, social, and cultural divides. Through interactive sessions in adult daycare and senior care facilities, participants are invited to engage with music that reflects a wide range of cultural traditions—gospel, jazz, blues, classical, and contemporary styles—many of which are deeply tied to personal and collective histories. This approach encourages seniors to share their own life experiences and cultural memories, creating space for storytelling, dialogue, and mutual respect.
- The program intentionally incorporates culturally relevant repertoire that resonates with diverse populations, helping participants reconnect with their heritage while also being introduced to new cultural perspectives. Group activities such as call-and-response, rhythm circles, and collaborative performances promote teamwork and social bonding among residents, staff, and visiting artists.
